A CANÇÃO BRASILEIRA is a special project to promote Brazilian classical vocal works. Through the works from great Brazilian composers as Heitor Villa- Lobos, Carlos Gomes, Lourenzo Fernandez, Guerra-Peixe, Marlos Nobre, Ronaldo Miranda and others,  Sonia Genú and the pianist  Tadeu Duarte,  present the public this colorful music with European, African and Indian elements, surprising the audience with its rich harmonies, humor and drama.


EU TE AMO is a scenic concert of the life cycle of love in two  acts. Love inspires many things in life. It is the origin of the most beautiful poems and the most beautiful music. Love is the universal binding factor between people and covers all moments in life: the love of life.

Love manifests itself in various appearances: the life of love. These appearances form the central theme of the Brazilian duo Sonia Genú (mezzo-soprano) and Tadeu Duarte (piano).

They are expressed by means of a varied selection of works by North and South American composers and lyrics writers, like George Gershwin, Ronaldo Miranda, Chiquinha Gonzaga, Ira Gershwin, Vinicius de Moraes, James Joyce, Chico Buarque, Cecilia Meirelles, Heitor Villa-Lobos, Samuel Barber, Cole Porter, Claudio Santoro.
